BroodMaster is a masterpiece : powerfull fighter and big miniature. It is THE Koralons'star : big stats, lots of special rules and cute mini.

Overview
Its cost of 51 points for the "lightest" loadout without any option tells you how powerfull can this one be. For Loadout 2 with full options, it rises to 124 points so doutblessly, this is a monster!
With Assault , Strength and Toughness 6, 2 Wounds you know it's worth the money. It slower stats are Shooting and Movement 4 which is rather good too.
Cd 5 is not bad but the Broodmaster is definitevely the kind of leader that leads from the Front!
Just be carefull with shooters as its Size 5 will makes it easier to spot it.

Here come special rules :

• Lethal Strike (*1). If you consider it is associated with ST 6, foes won't last long when Broodmaster closes!
• High Moral (+2) because such a killer won't panick easily!
• Heavy Armour (0) just in case T 6 wouldn't be enough to stop bullets.
• and, finally Hybrid Control : Hybrids fear the BroodMaster and naturally obey him.
  

Some more? For a few points, add it chitinous armour to rise Heavy Armour to +1.

Use
OK, this one is supposed to drive your opponent mad but Urban War is a balanced game so please come back on Earth, hum, I mean Iskandria and look at it closer!
This beast costs a lot and is big Sized so won't hide easily and shooter will get bonuses. So you'll have to play it smart with heavy cover or Portals. Direct approach will certainly lead the Broodmaster to death.

Options : Neutron Staff
This loadout carry the Neutron Staff ( 0/0 | 0(*3)/5) which can shoot three times per Shooting action at Short Range . Broodmaster then becomes a Chaingun! But, I fuseind this is a trap. Koralon player will then certainly hope to see lots of foes shot dead by this weapon... But this won't happen often! Keep in mind that lots of malus comes with Snap Shot actions and perform an Aimed shot is not really interesting for such a close combat specialist.
Broodmaster's probability to kill a standard trooper (CC 4, E 4) with a Snap Fire action is only 45 to 55%. It rises to 80% when Charging!
So, except if you don't want to engage the Broodmaster in long or risky hand-to-hand fights, it becomes less right and it will become interesting to harass ennemies with the Neutron Staff.
So think twice before choosing the loadout of the Broodmaster, Loadout 2 requieres a good plan and more attention to be usefull.

Conclusion
If you want to play hard, add the Broodmaster to your detachment that will enhance your hybrids'efficiency and find support from them. But, for Loadout 2, try to figure its use because it is not so easy to use...
