Shows - Salute 2006 2/3
Of course, I spent lots of time on Urban Mammoth's stand and around the 4 UW game tables where Andy, Dougie, Barry et Chris run demos from opening to closing of the doors. Here some infos I grabbed there :
Here is the staff : ![]() From left to right : Igor (just his head, he's not part of the staff), Andy "ID DOOMER" in viridian suit, John (Grant) and Dougie "Wargamer" in Junker. 2 other demo guys are missing, John "Robertson" et his wife. Game tables : ![]() Urban table using The FigureTrader scenery (especially the brand new raised road sections, one being collapsed just here) ![]() Some buildings were painted using some unusual colors as red, blue, ... This gave me ideas to change from usual paint schemes!![]() Have a close look to the buildings : there are graffitis. John Grant promised us to explain how he did them! ![]() Junker swarm of Dougie "Wargamer" Hamill. One of his 300 points detachments field 29 models! Of course, most of them are Pit Beast and Auxilia... ![]() Basic painted but efficient colour scheme : metalic paint, wash, brush and one colour. Not far from UM booth was The FigureTrader's one where I spent much time : ![]() Really gorgious 13" kit of Artemis Biomech ![]() Also very impressive is this VTOL able to hold a BIG Urban War detachment Let's have a look to The FigureTrader website : dioramic bases, pieces of scenery, buildings and even raised road sections are worth! ![]() Please subscribe to Urban Zone newsletter to get updates'notifications.
